Combining research and industry in the interests of sustainability is not easy. An even greater challenge is the question of what sustainable mobility of the future will look like. However, two project partners from the EREP project consortium tackled precisely these two challenges.
Employees from Aperion Analytics and roeren GmbH presented a solution at the Circularity Days 2024, which took place on 15 and 16 May in Wolfsburg, with the presentation ‘Verification of component suitability for extended remanufacturing process chains using a data-based evaluation model’. Following the conference, a related paper will be published by the Springer Verlag.
The paper answers the question of how the industrial remanufacturing of worn parts can be assessed from a sustainability perspective using a data-based model.
